I recently visited Antigua Bread in El Sereno and tried their Chicken Tenders with fries and the All American Breakfast. The Chicken Tenders were crispy and well-seasoned, paired perfectly with the golden fries. The All American Breakfast was a hearty and satisfying meal, featuring fluffy scrambled eggs, crispy bacon, and buttery toast. Both dishes were delicious and showcased the quality of the ingredients. The atmosphere at Antigua Bread was warm and welcoming, making it a great spot for a casual meal. Overall, I had a delightful experience and would definitely recommend giving it a try!
A good friend of mine recommend this restaurant called Antigua Bread it's a small and friendly cafe on Huntington Drive in El Sereno. This is my first time andI was looking the at menu they have a good selection including pastrys in limited what they have. I decided to order a breakfast burrito with sausage and blueberry muffin and coffee. I got my order very quick I notice the burrito was little big and took a bite lots of flavors mix like potato, bell pepper, onion and sauage including the egg mix in with great flavors in the burrito I enjoy it. The Blueberry muffin was really good and coffee brew daily and service was good and friendly.
Amazing authentic food! My friend recommended this place and I came and tried the ultimate plate and enchilada plate (we shared) highly recommend both. (You can also get the eggs done anyway you like). The place has a modern rustic feel and the employees are very helpful. Price wise it's about $50 for two meals and two speciality drinks. Come by with friends or come by with a book and grab some coffee.
I'm almost ashamed that I haven't written a review yet for my favorite breakfast spot. My absolute favorite chilaquiles by far. They're consistently delicious, I usually order the chilaquiles with both red and green sauce(they come mixed) and it is so flavorful. The chips are crunchy and the rice and beans are very tasty. When dining in for two, we order two iced lattes and two chilaquiles plates which total around $49, which can be a bit pricey but worth it. The quality is definitely worth the price. Tip: when ordering on the phone for pick up, you can ask for the sauce on the side so your chips don't get soggy. Don't forget to ask for crema! My only complaint would be that I feel they need more cheese. The coffee here is really good also, not overly sweet and tastes like good, quality coffee. I recommend the iced vanilla latte. Customer service is 10/10. Cleanliness is 10/10. Antigua never disappoints.
I work in the area and have been here many times before for a quick coffee :) very tasty! A few days ago I finally tried their lunch and wow, their veggie sandwich is amazing! So tasty and authentic Latin flavors. Ernie was super sweet and took care of us with the most care and attention. He even gifted us some sweet bread to take home which was warmed up . So grateful super tasty thank you Antigua :)
